IELTS : International English Language Testing System is basically a testing system which tests your listening, reading, writing and speaking skills of English.


Well, preparing for IELTS is not a simple task. So, most of the people prefer going to coaching institutes paying thousands of money and still gets less IELTS band than they expected. But people like us will prefer to prepare from home because WE ARE LAZY.


So, if you want to get a good IELTS band, you have to make sure that you are good in the four parts of the testing system which are listening, reading, writing and speaking. Now, let's go through each part and discuss 4 ways to prepare IELTS while being in home. Well then let's get started:

This first way of preparing is more fun, because you just have to watch films, listen to music and follow the news on television. But do them as mentioned below,

  • Watch English films with subtitles and watch them again without subtitles

  • Listen to English music and pick the songs you loved
  • After listening to your favourite songs for numerous times, try watching the lyrical videos of that songs
  • Follow the news channels on a regular basis
